Alpha Iota Zeta Alumni Association Season Ticket Allocation Policy

by Bruce Ritter, November 14, 2002

Every and all matters dealing with ticket allocation is at the sole discretion of the Vice President for Alumni Affairs. It is expected he will use the ticket allocation process in determining his decisions. His decisions are final.

Non-restricted Requests

  • The first four requested tickets are considered "non-restricted" requests.
  • Tickets for Non-restricted requests are allocated based on the first receipt of request as determined by the Vice President for Alumni Affairs.
  • Voice mail and e-mail requests will be processed on order of actual receipt of the request and not the order of origination.
  • If a ticket has not been requested as a non-restricted request one week prior to the desired game, it will be allocated to non-restricted requests, if any.
  • Less than one week before a game, all un-allocated and un-requested tickets will be allocated on a strict first come - first serve basis.

Restricted Requests

  • Each subsequent ticket requested is considered a "restricted request".
  • All tickets not allocated to non-restricted requests, one week prior to the requested game, will be allocated to those who have made a restricted request.
  • The Vice President for Alumni Affairs will allocate tickets to restricted requests at his discretion.
  • Such factors as current and historical giving to Alpha Iota Zeta, and current and historical participation in the Alpha Iota Zeta Alumni Association will be considered, as will the total number of tickets used that season to date.
  • Those requesting restricted tickets will be kept informed of the status of their request.
  • Less than one week before a game, all un-allocated and un-requested tickets will be allocated on a strict first come - first serve basis.

Other

  • If a user of the parking pass does not make the pass available to the next person requesting the pass in a timely manner, it will be at the discretion of the Vice President for Alumni Affairs whether that user will receive future tickets allocations
  • If it is determined that a user of tickets is abusing his use of the tickets it will be at the discretion of the Vice President for Alumni Affairs whether that user will receive future tickets allocations. An example of such an abuse would be to sell the tickets for personal gain.
